When I came to Andros from Athens for a weekend in March 2019 to help some friends, I felt that my life was about to change. I stole glances at the closed shops, the glowing sea, the friendly surrounding mountains, and, while drinking the first ouzo of the year, I called my partner and companion, Dimitris. I almost whispered the idea to him, and he came on the first ferry to the island.

In a few hours, we had already found a shop and a home. And that is how the first space for massage, reflexology, and handmade botanical oils, as well as beeswax salves and soaps, was born. It was "DiDo", which isn't misspelled. It comes from our names, Dimitris and Dora, two qualified therapists with a shared vision. Our first space was full of colors, perhaps mismatched to a Greek island, but they depicted our joy as well as our business innocence. The locals welcomed us immediately with kindness and interest, and the tourists… loved us.

A few months later came the first COVID quarantine, which for us was the opportunity to get to know the residents of the island—Greeks and foreigners living here. Also, all this free time was for me, as for many others on the planet, the opportunity to strengthen my… resume. A Vocational Institute degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant, training and specialization in Clinical Reflexology, as well as the great Abdominal Therapy method, kept me interested and busy…

Already 7 years have passed since then, full of beauty, joys, unexpected experiences, internal and external changes, but also difficulties, all of which together speak one phrase to us: "Blessed decision"—and we feel it every moment we look at the sea, listen to the wind, and welcome our guests. Internally, I thank the friends I helped that weekend.

Now we have grown, and we are changing our studio, location, and name. From our beloved Gavrio, we are moving to cosmopolitan Batsi, to the "Doralia Wellness" Holistic Space, which we built using our knowledge, dreams, many years of experience and, of course, our love for every person who visits us! With all our hearts, we thank those of you we already know, and we look forward to meeting all of you who will come into our lives!!!
